always evolving
This page is a reflection of my creative psyche & design principles
Rooted in Jungian archetypes and the process of individuation, it explores how I’ve evolved—not just as a designer, but also as a woman embracing diverse experiences and continually becoming.
I invite you to meet me beyond the résumé.
To witness what shaped my perspective: the thread between people, systems, emotions, and stories—
Where I find meaning, and where design comes alive for me.
The Creator // Where I started
The Explorer // Where I transformed
The Sage // Where I am now

THE
CREATOR
|| When you design for context, you create with conscience ||
As an architect in India, my work was rooted in people’s lives: their culture, climate, aspirations, and challenges. Both projects—Hotel at Bodhgaya and BlackSheep BnB—became conversations between context and creativity—an opportunity to transform space into something that resonated with the soul of a community.
Architecture taught me how to hold complexity with care.
It showed me how to weave aesthetics with systems, and listen to what isn’t said.

These lessons continue to guide my UX work today—whether I’m designing ecosystems or service flows, I honor both form and meaning, function and feeling.
This approach echoes the ancient symbol of the Sri Yantra—where layers of intricate geometry arise from a single still point, the bindu. I believe impactful design emerges when complexity is anchored around a clear vision—when every detail serves a deeper center of meaning.

THE
EXPLORER
|| Curiosity as my compass—exploring across disciplines to transform systems and drive innovation ||

Curiosity pulled me from architecture into uncharted territory—asking what else design could mean.
At Carnegie Mellon, I pursued a Master’s in Integrated Innovation, expanding into user research, service design, HCI, and systems thinking. I grew into a T-shaped designer—able to bridge disciplines, collaborate across tech and business, and move fluidly between craft and strategy.
Moving countries and navigating a pandemic taught me to adapt quickly, communicate across cultures, and build resilience—skills that shaped my growth as an independent product designer who leads with empathy.
This chapter mirrors the Kali Yantra—a symbol of transformation through disruption. Letting go of preconceived notions of “how to design” opened space for deeper evolution—revealing design as not something set in stone, but a continuous act of iteration, renewal, and becoming.

THE
SAGE
|| Simplicity—the soul of great design—is born from insight.
And insight comes from listening well ||
At John Hancock, I’ve led high-impact initiatives—from claims transformation and new product launches to behavioral insurance design. These efforts have driven over $8M in cost savings, increased digital self-service adoption, and opened new revenue streams through better customer and business alignment: a win-win scenario!
I shape narratives that align cross-functional teams around customer needs, business priorities, and a shared vision. I do this by building CX frameworks and experience maps grounded in research—translating insights into simple, strategic stories across initiatives like B2B enablement, digital customer intent servicing, and internal process optimization.
I also love to mentor peers, co-organize HCD team learning events, and help foster a more human-centered mindset across the organization.

TOWARD NEW PARADIGMS
Expanding consciousness through insight, imagination, and design
Over the years I've learnt to connect patterns, work with people across disciplines, ask the right questions, and use design to translate complexity or ambiguity into meaningful outcomes. I've lead with strategic clarity and the quiet power of observation, intuition, and influence.
Lately, I’ve been deepening my design practice through continuous learning and inquiry—exploring how to design for AI experiences beyond the current norm, create with spatial and extended reality, and imagine sustainable futures through speculative and inclusive design.
I’m guided by the belief that emerging paradigms can expand human consciousness and catalyze the systemic transformation our world urgently needs.
Drawing inspiration from the Saraswati Yantra, I continue my practice rooted in insight, learning, and the in pursuit of elegant harmony — in design and in life.

I'm currently attending Config 2025, and if you see me there come say hi!

Curious to go deeper? Inspired by something you saw?
Whether you have a collaboration in mind, are seeking mentorship, or just want to chat about design, I believe in the magic of human conversation.
Let’s grow, learn, and imagine what’s possible—together :)
